7th and 8th Grade Boys Soccer tryouts will begin on the second day of school, Tuesday, August 30th, from 2:40-4:45 pm at the lower 'pit' field below the tennis courts, adjacent to the varsity softball field.  Tryouts will last for four days (Tuesday 8/30 - Fri. 9/2).   There is no school on Monday, September 5th.  Practice will resume for those that make the final roster starting on Tuesday, September 6th.  A full schedule for the season will be distributed at that time via a Team Snap account.

All parents are strongly encouraged to attend the MS Boys Soccer Parent Meeting on Tuesday, August 30th @ 4:40 pm on the Softball Field bleachers (next to our practice location).  During the season, practices/games take place after school on Monday-Friday.  Consistent attendance is required.  There will be no team activities on weekends, holidays, or days school are closed for students.

In a typical year, there are usually between 65-75 athletes that attend tryouts.  The rosters for each team are limited to approximately 20 players (40 total).

To be eligible to try out for the team, student-athletes MUST be registered on the high school athletic website and must have their completed PIAA physical form on file with the athletic trainers.  Additionally, all 7th-grade athletes and any 8th grader that did not get one last year MUST have a completed IMPACT test taken.  Scheduling information about the IMPACT test was emailed out by the athletic department.

Monday, Aug 29 - OFF

Tuesday, Aug 30 - Tryouts from 2:40-4:45

Wednesday, Aug 31 - Tryouts from 2:40-4:45

Thursday, Sept 1 - Tryouts from 2:40-4:45 for 8th Grade only (7th grade off)

Friday, Sept 2 - Tryouts from 2:40-4:45 for 7th Grade only (8th grade off)

Monday, Sept 5th - Off, no school

Tuesday-Friday - Practice from 2:40-4:45
