Week of 5/13-5/15 Update
Schedule for the Week of May 13th- May 16th:
I am writing to make you aware of the OJRMS track schedule for next week. We have our last practice on Monday, May 14th followed by two meets on Wednesday and Thursday. On Tuesday at practice, we will be informing your son or daughter if they will be attending one of the meets. We will also post the roster for each meet on the website. To locate this, you will go to ojrwildcats.org...Spring tab...Boys Middle School/Girls Middle School...Team Files. Under Team Files the roster will be listed for each meet by Sunday evening.
Schedule by Day:
Monday, May 13th: NO PRACTICE
Tueday, May 14th: Practice 2:30-3:45
On Wednesday, May 15th the Boy's Track and Field Team will have the PAC-10 Invitational at Pottsgrove High School. The meet starts at 3:00 P.M. and students will leave from school at 1:45 P.M. Only the top 2 scorers for each event will be scheduled to go to the meet due to meet size (all PAC teams attend the meet). The Girl's Team will not have practice and boys who are not attending the meet do not have practice. The best estimate for the meet to be concluded is 5:45 P.M. Therefore, all students should have a ride home by 6:00-15 P.M. when the buses return to OJRMS. Students can also call to give the closest estimate of our return.
On Tuesday, May 16th the Girl's Track and Field Team will have the PAC-10 Invitational at Methacton High School. The meet starts at 3:00 P.M. and students will leave from school at 1:30 P.M. Only the top 2 scorers for each event will be scheduled to go to the meet due to meet size (all PAC teams attend the meet). The Boy's Team will not have practice and girls who are not attending the meet do not have practice. The best estimate for the meet to be concluded is 5:45 P.M. Therefore, all students should have a ride home by 6:15-30 P.M. when the buses return to OJRMS. Students can also call to give the closest estimate of our return.
The end-of-the-season pizza party is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21st. All students are expected to return their uniform at this party. This party will be in the OJRMS cafeteria. Students may take the activity bus home at 4:00 P.M. or be picked up at 3:45 from the middle school. More details will be posted about food/drink sign ups for the party in about a week from now. Sign Up and Physical Information
- Start of Spring Season for all sports is March 18, 2019
- Students who participated and were cleared for a middle school sport this school year only have to complete Section 7 of the CIPPE Physical Form.
- Forms are DUE March 8, 2019
- Middle School CIPPE Forms Collection will occur at lunches for 3 days for Spring Sports.
- Dates forms are collected: Monday March 4, 2019 – Friday March 8, 2019 (due to ½ days of school Athletic Trainers will be collecting on: Mon, Tues, Friday.)
